...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT BOURBON AND NORTHERN CRAWFORD
COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM CDT...

At 403 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Blue Mound to Moran to near Chanute.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Scott, Marmaton, Bronson, Arcadia, Uniontown, Walnut, Fulton,
Redfield, Hepler, Mapleton, Harding, Pawnee Station, Hiattville,
Petersburg, Farlington, Hammond, Devon, Garland, Porterville, and
Xenia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
