NORTHWESTERN BARRY...SOUTHWESTERN LAWRENCE AND SOUTHEASTERN JASPER
COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM CDT...

At 915 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Diamond to near Granby to near Purdy.
Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Neosho, Monett, Granby, Sarcoxie, Pierce City, Goodman, Purdy,
Diamond, Wheaton, Butterfield, Fairview, Fidelity, Stotts City,
Newtonia, Pioneer, Freistatt, Stella, Wentworth, Stark City, and
Avilla.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 44 between mile markers 17 and 42.
 Interstate 49 between mile markers 12 and 30, and between mile
markers 36 and 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
