ROANOKE...NORTHWESTERN BEDFORD AND BOTETOURT COUNTIES...THE CITY OF
SALEM AND THE CITY OF ROANOKE THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Oriskany to near Bent
Mountain. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

ponding of water on roadways, standing water in low lying areas, and
minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage.
Drivers are urged to slow down and use extra caution to avoid
hydroplaning.
