...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HUERFANO...
NORTHWESTERN LAS ANIMAS AND SOUTHEASTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES THROUGH 700
PM MDT...

At 622 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 16 miles south of Avondale, or 20 miles south of Pueblo
Airport, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Huerfano, northwestern Las Animas and southeastern Pueblo Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
