TUTT...
An upper-level trough extends southwest from 23N156E near Minami
Torishima to an upper-level low centered near 15N141E west of the
Marianas, and continues southwest to near 6N133E south of Koror.
Wind shear east of the trough is helping generate spotty showers and
isolated thunderstorms east of the Mariana Islands. North and east
of Yap, numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms are developing.
The trough is forecast to move west and continue to support the
development of showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Marianas
and Yap tomorrow. Another upper-level trough swings down into the
eastern Micronesia tomorrow region to bring more unstable weather
for the southern Marshall Islands.

...TRADE-WIND CONVERGENCE...
Trade winds are converging along a line from 3N165E to 5N180 with
a broad area of spotty showers and isolated thunderstorms near the
convergence zone across much of the southern Marshall Islands. An
increase in shower potential is expected tomorrow for the southern
Marshalls and Kosrae as is tracks west and interacts with an upper-
level trough. Another area of trade-wind convergence is seen from
near Eauripik at 7N143E extending southeast to 4N150E southwest of
Chuuk, then south to EQ152E west of Kapingamarangi. Spotty showers and
isolated thunderstorms are seen associated with this system and will
continue as it passes Yap and Koror tomorrow.

...TRADE-WIND TROUGHS...
Spotty showers and isolated thunderstorms are seen extending from
the Philippine Sea southeast to Yap which is associated with a
trade-wind trough extending from 18N133E to 5N140E. Extending from
14N161E to 8N161E, northeast of Pohnpei, a trade-wind trough is
producing only light showers. Both troughs are expected to track west
as it gradually develops and increases in shower coverage.
