...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau and at Thebes

.Water levels continue to rise along the Mississippi River at Cape
Girardeau and at Thebes. Forecast crests are slightly lower compared
to previous forecasts. However, Cape Girardeau is still forecast to
crest at moderate flood stage level on Wednesday. Thebes is still
forecast to crest in minor flood stage on Wednesday.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes...
Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Thebes.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, July 14.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 34.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.0
    feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Sunday, July 14.
  - Flood stage is 33.0 feet.

  - At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 35.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.0
    feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Wednesday, July 17.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
