At 151 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 16 miles northwest of Newport to 13 miles southeast of Chewelah. Movement was east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Brief heavy downpours and lightning are also expected. Locations impacted include...
