.DISCUSSION...
A strong ridge of high pressure will build over the Waterville
Plateau resulting in a prolonged drying and warming trend.
The winds for the remainder of day will be relatively light
out of the south but will gradually shift to west by early evening.
On Friday, expect very warm and dry conditions with increasing
west to northwest winds in the afternoon. The combination of hot
and dry conditions combined with increasing winds will lead to
critical fire weather conditions. For the weekend and into
next week expect to see very hot and dry conditions each day
with poor nighttime recoveries.
