...HEAT WAVE ARRIVES THIS WEEKEND AND PERSIST WELL INTO NEXT
WEEK...
The Fourth of July will feature high temperatures in the 80s and
low 90s with seasonably low relative humidity and light winds.
Much hotter weather will arrive this weekend and persist well into
next week. Confidence is growing that near record heat will occur
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday along with low daytime
relative humidity and poor overnight recoveries. We will be
keeping a close eye on how the hot ridge will break down. At this
time, the forecast models suggest a gradual moderation of
temperatures in the July 13 to 17 time frame.
