...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT RUTHERFORD...NORTHWESTERN COFFEE
AND WESTERN CANNON COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 728 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Murfreesboro, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Bradyville, Christiana, Readyville, and Rockvale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 73 and 94.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 45 and 55.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
