SOUTHEASTERN HOUSTON...CHEATHAM AND ROBERTSON COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM
CDT...

At 545 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles north of Springfield to 10 miles east
of Erin. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Dickson, Ashland City, Clarksville, Goodlettsville,
White House, Millersville, Greenbrier, Coopertown, White Bluff,
Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Burns, Portland, Joelton, Pleasant View,
Charlotte, Orlinda, Adams, and Vanleer.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 174 and 176.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 98 and 119.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 13 and 40.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
