.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will drift S over the waters today into
tonight, and stall across the area Wed. A weak low will move E
along the front Wed, and quickly move E of the area while pulling
the cold front S of the area Wed night into Fri. High pressure
will build N of the waters Tue into Fri, then shift NE of the
region Fri night into Sat night while extending a ridge across
the region. Tropical Storm Ernesto will track N to the SE of the
area Fri night while strengthening to a hurricane, then turn NE
Sat and Sat night. See the latest advisory from the National
Hurricane Center on Tropical Storm Ernesto. Chesapeake NAVTEX
continues to be reported inoperable.
