.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will build E over the N portion tonight
into Fri, then shift E of the region Fri night into Sat night
while maintaining a ridge across the waters. The ridge will then
drift E across the region Sun into Mon night. Hurricane Ernesto
will track N to NE and remain to the SE of the area tonight into
Fri, then continue to move N to NE Fri night into Sun night while
passing E of the waters before accelerating off to the NE Sun
night and Mon. Long period S to SE swell from Ernesto will move N
and NW into the waters through the weekend into Mon and Mon
night. For more information on Ernesto please see the latest
National Hurricane Center advisory. Otherwise, a cold front will
approach from the NW Mon, then move offshore Mon night into Tue
night. The NAVTEX station in Chesapeake has been reported to be
inoperable.
