...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Elevated fire weather concerns persist in the higher terrain above
the marine layer, especially above 2000 feet where daytime relative
humidities of 20 to 35 percent combine with overnight recoveries of
25 to 45 percent. Conditions should improve through the next week,
as a gradual cooling trend begins and onshore flow increases.
Breezy and gusty winds are expected along the coast, through the
gaps and passes, and within the Salinas Valley each afternoon and
evening, with gusts to around 25 mph expected.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Offshore flow is expected to bring dry air and breezy winds to the
higher terrain Saturday morning especially in Humboldt and Del
Norte counties. Hot temperatures expected for much of the interior
through early next week. Some relief in the temperatures is
possible early next week, but it is generally expected to remain
hot. Winds are generally expected to be light and terrain driven
aside from the offshore winds overnight. A slight chance (10-15%) of
dry thunderstorms are possible over northern Trinity County Sunday
and a 5-10% chance on Monday.
