...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Flathead
County through 500 PM MDT...

At 408 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Evergreen, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half-inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kalispell, KGPI Airport, Evergreen, Whitefish, Columbia Falls,
Creston, and La Salle.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 118 and 137.
 Highway 93 N between mile markers 105 and 124.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
