.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Most areas will see sunny skies by this
afternoon, with westerly breezes developing. Confidence is high for a
prolonged period of hot and dry weather Friday into this weekend and
beyond.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Another round of showers and
thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. Wetting rains
will focus across northern portions of the Kootenai and Flathead
National Forests and in Glacier Park. Westerly gusts of 15-25 mph will
develop by this afternoon.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Cloud cover this morning will
decrease by mid-afternoon, with westerly wind gusts of 15-25 mph developing.
Showers and thunderstorms return Wednesday. Probabilities of wetting
rains reach 20% across the West Lolo, and 40-60% across the Flathead
Reservation and East Lolo.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Westerly wind gusts of 15-25 mph
will develop this afternoon. Areas east of the divide will see gusts of
20-30 mph. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop across
eastern portions of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge NF. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms will expand area wide Wednesday.
