...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Alabama, including the following
  county, Mobile and southeast Mississippi, including the following
  county, George.

* WHEN...Until 1030 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 824 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
    rain has already fallen in a short period of time with more
    rainfall expected as the storms diminish over the next hour.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Midtown Mobile, Tanner Williams, Semmes, Wilmer, Mobile
    Regional Airport, I65 And AL 158, Warley, Lott, Millertown,
    Seven Hills, Orchard, Wheelerville, Smithtown, Mauvilla, West
    Hill, Movella, Oak Grove, Kushla, Forest Hill and Agricola.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
