...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...

At 347 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
over Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, or near Playalinda Beach, moving
northeast at 10 knots.

Additional storms developing west of I-95 may approach the Cape
Canaveral area waters over the next 60 to 90 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

A special marine warning may eventually be required when additional
strong thunderstorms reach the nearshore waters. Boaters should
consider heading for shore before these strong thunderstorms arrive.
