.DISCUSSION...
0.5 to 1 inch of rain has fallen over much of southern Wisconsin
so far today with an additional 1 to 2 inches of heavy rainfall
forecast this evening and overnight as a cold front moves across
the state. The highest rainfall amounts are expected across
western Wisconsin. Gusty south to southeast winds up to 30 mph
this afternoon and evening will become west to northwesterly on
Wednesday behind the front, with gusts around 15 to 20 mph
possible, mainly in the afternoon. Minimum RHs on Wednesday are
expected to be around 50 to 60 percent which will persist into
Thursday. Winds on Thursday will turn southwesterly by the
afternoon ahead of the next bout of rain Thursday night.
