...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PECOS AND NORTHERN
BREWSTER COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 354 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 25
miles north of Marathon, or 26 miles southwest of Fort Stockton,
moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Pecos
and northern Brewster Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Midland.
