.NOW...
Through midnight...a decaying area of showers and thunderstorms
will gradually diminish over the central and southeast South
Plains, while additional isolated to scattered thunderstorms
develop over the central and southern Rolling Plains. The most
intense activity in the Rolling Plains will produce heavy
downpours, cloud to ground lightning and wind gusts to 50 mph.
Additional rain amounts of a few hundredths to a couple of tenths
of an inch will be common, with localized totals in excess of a
half inch. A few locations that could see a stronger storm include
in or near Guthrie, Kalgary and Justiceburg.
