.NOW...
Through 9:30 pm...a cluster of thunderstorms will persist over
the central and southern South Plains, while the leading edge
advances into portions of the western Rolling Plains. The most
intense activity will affect areas in and around White River Lake,
Tahoka and O`Donnell while developing southeast around 20 mph.
Expect brief downpours, cloud to ground lightning, wind gusts to
50 mph and pea size hail with the strongest activity. If you hear
thunder you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Seek
shelter in a sturdy building or hard-covered vehicle and wait for
the storm to pass.
