.DISCUSSION...
Despite hot and breezy conditions once again today the overall
fire weather threat will remain low thanks to afternoon relative
humidity values staying generally above 20 percent and above
normal fuel moisture. Isolated to scattered showers and
thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening mainly along
and west of a line from Denver City to Childress. The main concern
with this activity would be some cloud-to-ground lightning strikes
as well as gusty and erratic winds.
