225 FZUS63 KDTX 021346 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 946 AM EDT Tue Jul 2 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A high pressure system will arrive over the continental northeast this afternoon while low pressure, 29.70 inches, moves over Lake Michigan late tonight into early tomorrow morning. Southeast winds will gradually veer southwesterly early tomorrow morning as a result. This low pressure system will also push a cold front across the Great Lakes, bringing increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms.
