...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 100 PM CDT...

At 1226 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Medicine Lake, or 32 miles southeast of Gordon,
moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Medicine Lake, Indian Hill, Schoolhouse Lake, Highway 61 crossing the
Snake River, and Steer Creek Campground.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 195 and 206.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
