...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 230 PM CDT...

At 141 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles west of Brownlee, or 18 miles north of Mullen, moving east at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brownlee, Marsh Flat, Highway 97 crossing Big Creek, and Highway 83
crossing Goose Creek.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 97 between mile markers 79 and 92.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 176 and 178, and near mile marker
181.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
