...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS NEAR ELBOW CAY...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to west end of Seven Mile Bridge
20 to 60 nm out...

At 517 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
strong thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 19 nm
southeast of Floyd`s Wall Southwest to 9 nm southwest of Elbow Cay,
moving northwest at 15 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
Elbow Cay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
