At 357 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a waterspout over the St. Johns River near Bostwick, or near Hastings, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts around 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Palatka, Hastings, East Palatka, Bostwick, Federal Point, Orange Mills, Bardin, San Mateo, Hollister, and Satsuma. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
