Coastal waters from Murrells Inlet to South Santee River SC out 20 nm... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... Waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 40 nm... Waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC from 20 to 40 nm... Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 40 nm... Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm... At 1240 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was located over Sheepshead Rock extending to points east, moving south at 15 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
