...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN RUTHERFORD...
SOUTHWESTERN CLEVELAND AND NORTHWESTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 900
PM EDT...

At 833 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Gaffney, or 5 miles northeast of Cowpens National
Battlefield, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Shelby, Boiling Springs NC, Earl, Lattimore, Patterson Springs,
Mooresboro, Cowpens National Battlefield, and Cliffside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
