...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM MDT
FOR EASTERN YUMA AND NORTHWESTERN DUNDY COUNTIES...

At 816 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 16 miles south of
Pleasant Valley, or 19 miles northeast of Wray, moving south at 30
mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Alvin, Colorado along with extreme
northeast Yuma county and extreme norhtwest Dundy county.

HAZARD...Three inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public. This storm has a history of destructive hail in
         Chase County Nebraska near Lamar.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Alvin.

This includes Highway 385 near mile marker 254.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
