At 945 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Hendley to 4 miles north of Shields. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph, pea size hail and torrential rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Norton, Quinter, Lenora, and Morland around 950 PM CDT. Almena and Edmond around 1000 PM CDT.
