...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL KIT CARSON COUNTY IN EAST
CENTRAL COLORADO...SOUTHWESTERN CHEYENNE AND NORTHWESTERN SHERMAN
COUNTIES IN NORTHWESTERN KANSAS THROUGH 630 PM MDT/730 PM CDT/...

At 556 PM MDT/656 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles east of Bonny
Reservoir to 10 miles north of Stratton to 6 miles southwest of
Flagler. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph, torrential rainfall and brief,
         localized reductions in visibility associated with blowing
         dust.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Seibert and Vona around 600 PM MDT.
  Stratton around 605 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Bethune.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 0 and 21.
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 391 and 450.
 Highway 385 between mile markers 183 and 206, and near mile marker
211.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall with these storms may lead to localized
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT/1000
PM CDT/ for northeastern and east central Colorado...and northwestern
Kansas.
