...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN CHEYENNE AND WESTERN
RAWLINS COUNTIES IN NORTHWESTERN KANSAS THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 734 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles west of Bird City, or 10 miles east of St. Francis, moving east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph, pea size hail and torrential
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Bird City around 740 PM CDT.
  McDonald around 750 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall with this storm may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northwestern Kansas.
