Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw a few sprinkles move through parts of the
area with mostly clear skies across a majority of the area.
Temperatures as of midnight ranged from 59 in Saint Francis,
Kansas to 62 in Burlington, Colorado. Winds were mainly from the
south at 5 to 10 mph, but beginning to change to out of the north
at 20 mph.

OUTLOOK... For the 4th of July, a relatively mild day remains
forecasted with sunny skies and highs around the low 80`s. The
only thing is that wins will be a bit breezy from the north at 20
mph with gusts up to 40 mph. For this evening, winds are forecast
to lower to near calm just after sunset with clear skies across
most of the region and temperatures in the 60`s. There is a very
small chance for a pop up storm or two around Eastern Colorado.
The rest of the night will see lows generally in the 50`s.
Tomorrow, another relatively mild day is forecast with highs in
the 80`s underneath mostly sunny skies. Winds are forecast to be
out of the northwest at 10 mph. There could be a storm or two
later in the day.
