Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw mostly clear skies with a few showers near
the Tri-state border. Temperatures as of midnight ranged from 56
in Haigler, Nebraska to 67 in Russell Springs, Kansas. Winds were
generally calm.

OUTLOOK... A few showers and storms are possible through the early
overnight and morning hours across the Tri-State area. By the
afternoon, any precipitation should be dissipating along with
cloud cover, allowing for mostly sunny skies and highs near 80.
Winds are forecast to be from the northwest around 10 to 15 mph. Tonight,
clear skies are forecast for most of the area with lows generally
dropping into the 50`s. There could be a few storms in
Northeastern Colorado and Southern Nebraska. Tomorrow, a warm day
is forecast with highs reaching near 90 underneath mostly sunny
skies. Storms, including severe storms, are forecast to develop
during the afternoon hours. Winds are forecast to be from the
southwest at 15 to 20 mph.
