...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 2004, a complex of thunderstorms stretching from central to southwest
Nebraska produced damaging winds during the late night hours across Red
Willow County. Several power poles were blown down and two transformers
caught fire. Numerous trees and tree limbs were blown down across the county.
