SOUTHEASTERN BUFFALO...SOUTHWESTERN MERRICK AND HALL COUNTIES THROUGH
915 PM CDT...

At 827 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near St. Libory to near Prosser to near
Holdrege. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Grand Island, Hastings, Holdrege, Minden, Kenesaw, Doniphan,
  Juniata, Axtell, Funk, and Heartwell around 835 PM CDT.
  Chapman, Phillips, and Norman around 840 PM CDT.
  Wilcox, Giltner, and Trumbull around 845 PM CDT.
  Hildreth, Roseland, Marquette, Holstein, and Inland around 850 PM
  CDT.
  Aurora, Harvard, and Glenvil around 855 PM CDT.
  Clay Center, Hampton, Upland, Ayr, and Stockham around 900 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 261 and 339.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central and central Nebraska.
