...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT JEWELL...NORTHERN SMITH...
SOUTHEASTERN NUCKOLLS...SOUTHEASTERN WEBSTER...SOUTHEASTERN FILLMORE
AND THAYER COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM CDT...

At 954 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorm
outflow winds, along a line extending from near Milligan to Superior
to near Smith Center. Movement was southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Superior, Smith Center, Hebron, Mankato, Deshler, Nelson, Jewell,
Davenport, Milligan, Bruning, Chester, Lebanon, Alexandria, Burr Oak,
Hardy, Ruskin, Ohiowa, Esbon, Formoso, and Carleton.

At least brief heavy rain could also occur, but several minutes
after the passage of the initial outflow winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
portions of north central Kansas...and south central Nebraska.
