A few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening across portions of the area. If any stronger storms are able to develop, hail near the size of quarters and wind gusts to around 60 MPH would be the main concerns. Heavy rainfall associated with thunderstorms could pose some flooding problems for areas that have had a few inches of rain over the past few days. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. On Wednesday, chances for thunderstorms linger into the daytime hours, but better chances spread across the outlook area Wednesday evening into the overnight hours. There will be the potential for some of these evening and overnight storms to be strong to severe. Hail near the size of quarters and wind gusts near 60 MPH would be the primary hazards. For Thursday, Independence Day, chances for thunderstorms remain in the forecast, but are expected to be during the morning and early afternoon hours...ending by evening for fireworks activities. Severe weather is currently not anticipated. Periodic thunderstorm chances return to the forecast for Saturday through Monday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
