Issued by NWS Glasgow, MT
288 FNUS55 KGGW 150901 FWFGGW Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northeast Montana National Weather Service Glasgow MT 301 AM MDT Mon Jul 15 2024 .DISCUSSION... Cooler conditions are expected today with unstable northwest flow. Another weak shortwave trough could produce isolated thunderstorms from late in the afternoon through the overnight hours. The remainder of the week will feature rising temperatures, with near triple digit temps by Friday as the western ridge builds over the region. With the warmer temperatures will come lower relative humidity, with values in the teens possible by late in the week. The hot and dry conditions will promote drying of fuels and increase fire weather concerns. MTZ134-152230- Northern Valley and Northern Phillips Counties- 301 AM MDT Mon Jul 15 2024 .TODAY...
