This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Hot and humid weather will continue in the region through this
evening. A Heat Advisory will continue through 7 PM for expected
heat indices at or above 105 degrees.

Isolated thunderstorms will occur through midnight tonight.
Lightning may impact Independence Day celebrations, especially
along and east of Interstate 75.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Heat index values in the 100 to 108 degree range are anticipated
in the region on Friday. A Heat Advisory has been issued for
Friday afternoon. Some cooling should occur in northern Georgia
over the weekend and the hottest conditions on Saturday and Sunday
may get confined to central Georgia.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue each day through Wednesday.
Coverage of storms will generally be maximized during the
afternoon and evening hours each day. The risk for severe weather
remains low.
