.DISCUSSION...
Expecting showers and thunderstorms to stay south of Macon and
Columbus today with the main threats will be lightning and gusty
winds. Rainfall amounts should be generally less than a quarter
of an inch over the next two days and associated with any showers
or storms. Drier air pushing in behind the cold front keeps RHs at
45-50% with minimal rain chances over north Georgia. Meanwhile,
our winds will be from the east today before switching to the
southeast on Wednesday, with both days having winds at 5-7mph.
Today could see gusts up to 20 mph over north Georgia but central
Georgia looks to be confined to less than 15 mph.
