An approaching upper level shortwave trough is expected to lower afternoon temperatures a couple degrees Saturday as compared to Friday and bring moisture to the area, both of which should improve afternoon minimum RH values this weekend. Additionally, this should disrupt the enhanced afternoon up-valley S wind pattern seen the last couple days, with winds shifting toward the west. Wind speeds are expected to be similar at ridge level (10 to 15 mph, but from the WNW) to the past couple of days, but the shift of direction could disrupt the up-valley flow...leading possibly to more sheltered areas and lighter winds at the burn site. .REST OF TODAY...
