...HOT TEMPERATURES AND EXTREMELY LOW RH WILL INCREASE FIRE
DANGER FOR ALL INTERIOR ZONES THROUGH THE WEEK...
.DISCUSSION...The easing of winds has prompted an early end to
the previous red flag in zone 264. With RH values extremely low
there still exist a risk for ignition despite the missing component
of gusty winds. Despite the lack of gusty winds, isolated northeast
winds can be expected each night over high terrain through Thursday,
especially in the the Klamath Mountains. With such dry conditions,
even gentle terrain winds will promote periods of critical fire
weather each afternoon, especially within wind channeled valleys.
