...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Blue River at Blue Ridge Boulevard Kansas City.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 35.3 feet, Recreation area on the northwest side of
the bridge begins to flood.
At 36.0 feet, Low-lying apartments along Holmes Road begin to flood.
At 36.5 feet, Red bridge road begins to flood.
At 38.6 feet, Blue Ridge Boulevard on the west side of the bridge
begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early this morning to a crest of 37.9 feet this morning. It
will then fall below flood stage this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
