...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO EARLY SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River at Osawatomie.
* WHEN...From late tonight to early Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the river begin to
flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tonight
to 28.3 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood
stage early tomorrow afternoon to 17.5 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will rise to 18.0 feet early Monday afternoon.
It will then fall to 17.9 feet Tuesday morning. It will then
rise again but remain below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
