...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CDT WEDNESDAY
FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON, NORTHERN JONES, SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE,
DUBUQUE AND NORTHWESTERN JO DAVIESS COUNTIES...

At 815 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 2 hours.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dubuque, Asbury, Monticello, Cascade, Epworth, East Dubuque,
  Farley, Peosta, Hopkinton, Worthington, Menominee, St. Donatus,
  Centralia, Sageville, Bernard, Zwingle, Canton, Langworthy, Graf
  and Fillmore.

  Allison Creek, North Fork Catfish Creek, Lime Creek, Middle Fork
  Catfish Creek, Farmers Creek, Lost Creek, Prairie Creek, Otter
  Creek, Curran Branch, Buffalo Creek, Jurdan Creek, Whitewater
  Creek, Grove Creek, Kitty Creek, Mill Creek, Silver Creek, Fawn
  Creek, Mississippi River, Yeager Creek, Bear Creek, Deer Creek,
  Lytle Creek, Sand Creek, Catfish Creek, Buncombe Creek, Granger
  Creek, Mineral Creek, Tibbetts Creek, Little Menominee River,
  Helmer Creek, Hewitt Creek, Buck Creek, Plum Creek, Cline Branch,
  Cloie Branch, Bakers Creek, Platte River, Cooksley Creek,
  Menominee River, Sinsinawa River, Black Hawk Creek, Spring Branch,

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
