...Patchy Dense Fog in Iowa Early this Morning...

After the heavy rainfall of yesterday, light winds and areas of
clearing skies overnight have caused areas of dense fog to develop
over Iowa. Visibility has lowered to one quarter mile in some
areas.

If traveling early this Wednesday morning, be prepared for rapidly
lowering visibility; especially in valley areas and over portions
of central, eastern, central and southwest Iowa. The fog should
lift shortly after sunrise today.

Use caution while traveling early today. Use low beam headlights,
allow extra time to reach your destination safely and allow extra
distance between you and vehicles ahead of you. Use extra caution
at intersections and railroad crossings as approaching vehicles or
trains will be more difficult to see.
