...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SCOTT COUNTY THROUGH 1000 PM
CDT...

At 902 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles south of Oakley to 10 miles east of
Tribune. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Scott State Lake around 910 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Modoc, Scott
City, Manning, Shallow Water and Grigston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern and west central Kansas.
